Youth Square

The Youth Square, which came into full operation in 2010, is a youth development project of the Home Affairs Bureau of the HKSAR Government, managed and operated by New World Facilities Management Company Limited on a non-profit making basis.Youth Square features a wide range of facilities includingY Theatre, Y Studio, multi-function areas and the Y Loft. Youth Square has been conducting over 100 themed events under “Music & Dance”, “Arts & Culture” and “Community Engagement”, served for more than 1.6 million participants since 2010.

Coming by yourself? Join the Single Singers

Dutch Singers Annemarie Homan and Emily May't Hoen started this project in 2012 at the London A Cappella Festival, gathering singers that are participating the festival by him/herself and sing together. Learn your parts at home, meet new friends at the festival, have three rehearsals and one glorious performance at VAF Concert. Join forces with new people and meet in the music!

Singing without limits! Vocal Asia Festival has been calling for videos of singing in subways and stations, and we've gathered so many videos and made them into a montage, presenting singers from around the world singing together without borders!

The video journey begins in Berlin, Germany, all the way to Asia's Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and finally in Hong Kong. Singers from different places are gathered in one with their voices and faith, which transforms into a positive energy reaching out to Vocal Asia Festival, which is held from August 16-19 at Youth Square in Chai Wan, Hong Kong.  Let's sing together and travel around the world with our voices!
